Enjoy your ride aboard a brand-new 25' conch. It has a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots and can comfortably take up to 4 guests. Fully equipped with navigational electronics, a much-needed thing when you spend your day on the water.

The Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary is home to a great variety of amazing creatures. Since 1990, the Sanctuary protects more than 2900 square nautical miles of the Florida Keys coastal and ocean waters.

On your day out with the crew, you'll start off by fishing for live bait, then you will be able to target a range of local species, such as Tarpon and Permit, as well as Cobia, Jack Crevalle, Snapper, Grouper, and Sharks.

Key West is home to a wide range of gorgeous fish species that are just waiting for the right angler to show up and give them a proper fight. Reel Smoker is here to give you just that – Captain John Jr. has fished this area his whole life and is keen to show you the hottest spots and put you on the best bite.

Join him aboard their brand new, 2023  30 center console, made by conch boats at R&R Boatworks. She’s powered by two 450 HP Mercury engines, that allows the boat to travel at a maximum cruising speed of 40 mph She’s spacious and allows for up to 6 anglers to fish in comfort, without tangling lines. A live bait well will keep your bait alive and kicking, so you can just focus on the fishing. If the sun gets a bit too hot, the t-top will provide shade.

Captain John Jackson Jr. will take you after a wide range of excellent fish in this area. You can target Amberjacks, Cobias, Barracuda, Jack Crevalles, Kingfish, Permits, Snappers, Groupers, Sharks, Tarpon, and many other species. To land these big boys you can try several different techniques, like spinning, bottom fishing, and drift fishing, all while using light or heavy tackle. 

The Silver King is one of the stars of the show with Reel Smoker and it can be targeted year-round, however, the best fishing for Tarpon in this area is between March and July.

Live bait is either prepared before you arrive or caught during the trip, but always included in the price. All rods, reels, and tackle needed will be provided by the captain. There’s no minimum age for kids with Reel Smoker and anglers of all ages and skill levels are invited to join them on this exciting fishing adventure!i

Climb aboard their 26’ Barker, a brand-new state-of-the-art fishing machine. You’ll be able to go nearshore, offshore, and backcountry fishing, as well as hit the Florida Keys sanctuaries. She has a great, dry ride, powered by a 350 HP Mercury engine, allowing you to cruise at a maximum speed of 40 knots. Her second stage tower lets the captain spot the catch a great distance away. A live bait tank is there to keep your bait spry and kicking.

one of our professional guides will be your guide and instructor on this excellent fishing adventure. With him, you will target a variety of fantastic fish like Tarpon, Bonefish, Gag, Goliath, and Broomtail Groupers, Mangrove and Mutton Snappers, Jack Crevalles, Kingfish, and many others you may run into. bottom fishing and spinning, with light or heavy tackle.

Tarpon can be targeted throughout the year, but the best fishing for Silver King is from March through July.

Your captain will provide you with all the necessary fishing equipment, but fly fishermen will need to bring their own rods. Live bait is included in the price for all trips.

Head out just before sunset to make the most of the hot Tarpon bite! The "Silver King" prefers to feed once the sun starts to go down, making this your best opportunity to land one of Florida's most famous fish. Capt. John provides all of the gear you need for a successful day. Bring along any drinks and snacks you'd like to have and you're good to go!

4 Hour Trip – Tarpon

Give yourself a couple of extra hours on the water to enjoy productive wreck and reef fishing in Key West! You'll go after the likes of Barracuda, Amberjack, Cobia, Snapper, and Permit with gear provided by Capt. John. Bring along enough drinks and snacks to keep you going and you're all set!

Offshore Fishing 6 Hour Trip

Head even further out and make the most of the action in the reefs and wrecks on the full day trip! You'll have your hands full with plenty of Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Snapper, and Grouper to hook! Capt. John brings along all of your gear and live bait. All you'll want you to bring are any drinks and snacks you'd like to enjoy throughout the day.

8 Hour Trip – Offshore Full Day

This split day trip is the ideal choice to get Tarpon at the end of your line! You'll head out early in the morning for 4 hours of fishing before coming back to shore and breaking for the hottest part of the day. Just before sunset, you'll head out again for another 4 hours, maximizing your chances of hooking into the Silver King. No need to worry about gear – just bring any drinks and snacks you'd like to enjoy.

8 Hour Trip – Split Day Tarpon

Go the distance you won't regret it! You'll go deep on this 10-hour trip to fish areas with high-density fish populations and very low fishing pressure. It's all about Sailfish, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Snapper, and Grouper once you're out here. Capt. John provides all the gear and guidance you need for a successful day. Pack drinks and snacks to get you going and strap in for the adventure!
